Introducing Ethel, our straight bladed manicure multi-tool, she is double ended and has a flat blade. Ethel is handcrafted to British Standards and has our unique titanium coating, and optimum hygiene.
Our Ethel manicure tool has been specifically designed as a tool suitable for nail preparation pre manicure or pedicure.
Ethel is the ultimate tool for all Nail Professionals, she has a straight blade for the removal of dead skin from the nail plate, leaving a clear, perfectly prepped nail plate giving the best retention for products.

Ethel is not a pusher and should not be used in the same way, she is incredibly sharp and must be used with caution. Holding your Ethel tool the same way you would hold a pencil; keep your grip light but firm. Place the edge of the tool flat against the nail plate and gently, with no pressure, glide the tool over the plate lifting off the dead skin residue. If this causes any pain or discomfort you are applying too much pressure.
Not all nails are the same and some will not create dead skin residue this does not mean apply pressure.
Always ensure the bladed edges are perfect and without any imperfections. If the blades are damaged do not use.

Helen nippers are a standard size nippers, with fine blades designed specifically to nip off the fine edges of dead skin from fingers and toes. It is important you never cut the live skin surrounding the nail bed.
To remove excess non living tissue, position the nippers just above the area where the hangnail is attached to the skin and very carefully nip once. Never pull on the skin if it doesn't come off right away. If you are using them correctly it should never hurt or draw blood. Before using Helen on a client always practice on yourself first. She is very sharp, always replace protective cap.
